This session examines Cambodia's transition from cash to digital wage payments in the garment sector, drawing on insights from the collaborative efforts of the ILO Global Centre on Digital Wages for Decent Work and TAFTAC. Its objective is to explore the significance of digital wages in ensuring compliance and fostering supply chain development. The session also aims to address the challenges faced by smaller factories, without direct engagement with international brands, in transitioning to digital wages.
