Description
Maria Xernou is a Policy Analyst with a legal background specialised in access to remedy for business-related impacts. She currently supports the network of National Contact Points for Responsible Business Conduct (NCPs), the non-judicial grievance mechanism operating under the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises on Responsible Business Conduct. In this role, she works with NCPs on the handling of cases regarding issues related to, among others, human rights, employment and industrial relations, and protection of the environment. In her previous role as Anti-Corruption Analyst at the OECD, she delivered legal analysis on national anti-corruption frameworks and practices in the fight against foreign bribery.
