Description

As part of Arisa, Susanne has been involved in a study on textile recycling in Panipat, India, looking at working conditions and the involvement of children in this industry. Following this study, Arisa advocates for the inclusion of a human and labour rights perspective in discussions and plans linking to textile recycling and circularity initiatives. Arisa aims to improve working conditions in international supply chains in South Asia. While prioritising the most vulnerable workers in these supply chains, Arisa works to eliminate child labour, forced labour and discrimination based on caste and gender in collaboration with organisations in India, Bangladesh and Pakistan.
