Executive Vice President, Japan Textile Federation (JTF) and also Executive Vice President, Japan Chemical Fibers Association(JCFA)
Ken-ichi has served for Japan Textile Federation, the umbrella organization of textile industry from April 2019.
He has broad knowledge of trade and industry including textile with its process from upstream to downstream. He also serves as General Secretary and manages Trade issues, Innovation and Sustainable Business. Before joining JTF he spent more than three decades in public sector. such as First Secretary, Embassy of Japan in Mexico, Director, Textile and Clothing Division, Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) and President Director, Jakarta Office, Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO).
