Description
Germán Zarama is a Policy Analyst and Regional Focal Point for Latina America and the Caribbean at the OECD Centre for Responsible Business Conduct. Prior to joining the OECD, Germán worked for more than a decade as a consultant and researcher, mainly focused on Human Rights and Business, Sustainability, and Social Development. He has worked with both the private and public sectors, including organisations such as the Ministry of Agriculture in Colombia, the LAC regional representation of the Institute for Human Rights and Business, Princeton University, The United States Agency for International Development (USAID), the Investor Alliance for Human Rights and the Danish Institute for Human Rights, among others.
A Colombian national, Germán holds a degree in Law (Xavierian University, Colombia), an MA in International Relations (University of Bologna, Italia) and a Professional Programme in Public Management for Development (IDB). Germán speaks Spanish, English, Italian, and Portuguese.
