The last years has seen a rapid increase in the use of electronic payments to garment workers. That means that by now data on the actual wages that workers receive should be available on a large scale. Yet, this data is not available to stakeholders in the industry. We want to examine if, and how, responsible disclosure of actual wages can be achieved, respecting the privacy of workers. By bringing together companies, data experts, wage experts and CSO's we want to establish if there is a viable way forward to use electronic payments as a true evidence-based transparent reporting tool.
