The workshop will discuss the conditions and deficiencies for workers in the sector in Albania and possibilities for garment and footwear companies to improve the situation. The session is planned to be organized in a workshop format with a panel of 4 speakers who will focus the discussion on these topics: 1) salary and living wage; 2) health and safety issues and the role of the OHS councils; 4) Harassments and violence in the world of work related to ILO C-190; 4) Trade unions role and responsibilities to improve conditions at work, while also boosting women workers’ voice and agency.
