Executive Vice President, Japan Textile Federation (JTF) and also Executive Vice President, Japan Chemical Fibers Association (JCFA) Ken-ichi has served for Japan Textile Federation, the umbrella organization of textile industry since April 2019. He has broad knowledge of trade and industry as he spent more than three decades in public sector before joining JTF, such as Director General, Chubu (Central Japan) Bureau of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI), Vice President, Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), President Director in the Jakarta Office, Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), Director, Textile and Clothing Division, METI, Director General of Industry, Labor and Tourism , Aichi Prefecture, Economic Section Chief, Embassy of Japan in Mexico.
