Senior Counsellor for Strategic Foresight
Description
Prior to assuming his current role of Senior Counsellor for Strategic Foresight and Head of the Strategic Foresight Unit since mid-January 2023, Rafal served as Deputy Chief of Staff and Senior Advisor in the Office of the Secretary-General since March 2018, advising the leadership of the Organization on key economic and policy topics in pursuit of Members’ key priorities and the Secretary-General’s Strategic Orientations. Rafał joined the OECD in 2007, conducting different research projects and contributed to the economic surveillance and policy analysis of France, Poland, Hungary, Slovenia, Tunisia, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom. Prior to joining the OECD, Rafał worked at the Banque de France and was Assistant Professor at the University of Montpellier. He holds a Doctorate Degree in Economics from Paris Dauphine University.
