Description
- Leading the work in the sector to build independent and united unions, in line with the strategic objectives of the Organization.
- Assist unions in Collective Bargaining, organization, joint actions and campaigns.
- Defend workers' rights and mobilize international solidarity when needed.
- Build International Union Networks and implement Global Framework Agreements and develop new ones between IndustriALL Global Union and multinational companies.
- Fighting Precarious Work and developing Sustainable Industrial Employment.
- Develop and manage projects financed internally and externally in cooperation with the Regional Offices and project coordinators.
- Organizing conferences and workshops, usually outside the Geneva headquarters.
- Focus on the on the social, financial and industrial implications of the energy transition and the impact on workers, looking for a Just Transition for them.
- Study the impact and alternatives of Industry 4.0 for workers in energy sector.
