Description
Thierry Lambert graduated from the prestigious École Spéciale Militaire de Saint-Cyr in 1993 and the École des Officiers de la Gendarmerie Nationale in 1994. He holds a Master's degree in Public Administration and Management from Paris 2 Panthéon-Assas University (1998).
His career began as an officer in the Gendarmerie (1993-1998), followed by various key roles in public administration, including Deputy Head of the Budget Office for Higher Education and Youth & Sports at the Budget Directorate (1998-2002), and Inspector of Finance (2002-2005). He later became Deputy Head of the General Inspectorate of Finance (2005-2007).
In addition to his career in public service, Thierry Lambert also brings extensive experience from the private sector. He has held senior leadership roles at Saint-Gobain, including Director of Audit and Internal Control, CEO of Timber Group, and General Delegate for the UK, Ireland, and South Africa, as well as for the Nordic and Baltic regions (2007-2019).
Since 2019, he serves as the French Government’s Interministerial Delegate for Public Transformation, a role he assumed following his appointment by decree on November 27, 2019.
