Description
Florina Pop (RO) joined EIPA Maastricht in 2021 as a Data Protection Expert. Florina, originally a lawyer, specialises in data protection: implementation of privacy policies and GDPR measures, as well as conducting training on the topic. She also has extensive experience in providing legal support and consulting for international commercial and technology matters. A keen interest in Corporate Social Responsibility and Humanitarian Aid is present in Florina’s work.
Before joining EIPA, Florina was a Legal Officer at the European Commission for DG ECHO (European Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations), and a European Legal Teamleader and Data Protection Adviser at Advantech.
Florina holds a Master’s degree in European Law from the Radboud University of Nijmegen in addition to a Master’s degree in Business Law from the University of Bucharest.
