Description
Clara Cotroneo is a lecturer at EIPA Maastricht and EIPA’s Centre in Luxembourg. Clara is also coordinating the 2021 European Public Sector Award (EPSA). Her consulting areas of expertise, research and teaching cover topics related to the area of freedom, security and justice, including security and digitalisation – and the intersection between the two, cross-border crime (including human trafficking and cybersecurity), judicial and police cooperation, migration and fundamental rights.
Formerly, Clara was Director of Programmes at Vesalius College (Brussels.) Clara is a certified cybersecurity analyst and a PhD researcher at Leiden University’s Institute of Security and Global Affairs. She also holds an MPhil in psychology, an MA in linguistics and a postgraduate certificate in teaching in higher education. Clara is an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (HEA) in the UK.
