Description

As a founding member and current manager of Nido, the Innovation Lab of the Belgian Federal Government within the FPS Policy and Support, Frédéric Baervoets supports the Belgian public services in initiating and accelerating innovation. He is particularly interested in challenge-driven innovation and in exploring opportunities for collaboration with “unusual” partners, offering other/ different/ new perspectives. Taking up the role of innovation matchmaker, Frédéric is the NPC of OPSI for Belgium. He has previous professional experience in the areas of Internal control, management support and human resources. Frédéric is an idealist, father of two teenagers, member of an alternative rock Quartet, and a rebel with a good cause.
