Description
Anne-Marie Levy Rasmussen is CEO of Innovation Fund Denmark since the beginning of 2020. The fund was established in 2014 to strengthen and foster strategic research and innovation projects in all of Denmark. Its primary goal is to accelerate research and innovation projects into solutions that strengthen the competitiveness and sustainability of the Danish society. The fund invests in entrepreneurs, researchers and businesses that create value for Denmark and new solutions to society’s biggest challenges.
Anne-Marie Levy Rasmussen came from a position as global leader in the commercial part of the vaccine area of the medical industry, GlaxoSmithKline, where she since 2007 held director positions in Denmark, London and lastly at the company headquarter in Belgium.
Anne-Marie Levy Rasmussen has a wide and long experience within the research and innovation area. She has worked both within the university system and in international business and has deep insight into the political processes. She was previously a member of the board for Tech Funding (Højteknologifonden) and vice president of the board of the Danish Academy of Technical Sciences. She has also held a board position in the European association of physicists, the European Physical Society.
Anne-Marie Levy Rasmussen is a trained physicist and graduated from the Niels Bohr Institute at Copenhagen University.
