Biography
Irine Yusiana Roba Putri is a Member of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia, representing the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDI Perjuangan). She is currently assigned to Commission V, one of the organs of the House overseeing matters relating to transportation and infrastructure. She also holds a position as a Vice Chairperson of the House Committee for Inter-Parliamentary Cooperation.
In March 2021, she was appointed Women Political Leaders (WPL) Country Ambassador to the Republic of Indonesia and has been actively working with WPL’s international network to promote women’s participation in public decision-making processes, especially in Indonesia.
She also serves as Vice Chairperson of Women ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly and has been an active member of the Forum of Young Parliamentarians of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU), and the ASEAN Parliamentarians for Human Rights (APHR).
