Biography
Pedro Pessanha was born on September 22, 1966 and has a degree in Real Estate Management from ESAI - Escola Superior de Atividades Imobiliárias (Higher School of Real Estate Activities) and a Post-training Course in Real Estate Management from IST - Instituto Superior Técnico (Higher Technical Institute). He is a Navy lieutenant in the Marine Corps Special Forces presently in the Reserve. He is Chairman of the CHEGA Party Lisbon District since 2019 and is a Member of the party National Council. He is an MP since March, 2022 and his on his second consecutive mandate elected for CHEGA party. He was the National Defense Coordinator for CHEGA Party Parliamentary Group from March 2022 to January 2024. He is currently the Chair of the National Defense Commission since March 2024 and alternate member of the Foreign Affairs and Portuguese Communities Commission. He is a member of the Supreme Council of National Defense.
