Biography

Dr. Mufti Aimah Nurul Anam is a Member of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia, representing the Indonesian Democratic Party - Struggle (PDI-P) for East Java II Constituency. Mufti was born on 24th December 1987 in Banyuwangi, East Java. He holds a Doctor of Medicine Degree from Universitas Wiajaya Kusuma, Surabaya, American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine, Master’s degree in Communication from Universitas Padjajaran, and ongoing to pursue Doctoral studies in Universitas Padjajaran. He is appointed to be member of Commission VI, overseeing Trade, Trading Area, and Business Competition Supervisory, State-owned Enterprises. He is also a Member of the Committee for Inter-Parliamentary Cooperation. This 2024 – 2029 term of office marks his second term as a parlementarian. Mufti is Chairman of the Central Executive Board of GP Ansor, Head of BUMN Synergy BPP HIPMI, Vice Chairman of Export Import Committee of Indonesia Trade Chamber (KADIN) East Java from 2014-2019
