Biography
Sahar Albazar is an Egyptian MP, Deputy Chair of the Foreign Affairs Committee, and Chair of the Foreign Affairs Committee for Mostaqbal Watan. She founded and leads the Ubuntu Parliamentary Initiative for Climate Finance and serves on the Executive Board of Parliamentarians for Global Action. Previously, she was President of the IPU Forum of Young Parliamentarians and Chair of the Women Parliamentary Council of the IMF-World Bank Network. A WEF Young Global Leader and Yale World Fellow (2022), she became an Asia Global Fellow and Obama Leader (2024). She holds an MPA from Harvard Kennedy School
