Biography
Sophie Michaud Gigon (*1975) holds a Master’s degree in Political Science, German and French. She has been a member of the National Council since 2019 and represents the Greens party. At present, she is a member of the Economic Affairs and Taxation Committee, the Delegation for Relations with the Landtag of Liechtenstein as well as the Standing Parliamentary Delegation for Participation in OECD Activities that she is currently chairing. In parallel, she has held the post of Secretary General of the Fédération romande des consommateurs, one of the best-known consumer protection organisations in Switzerland since 2017.
