Biography
Dr. Galyna Mykhailiuk is a lawyer, Doctor of Legal Sciences (Dr. Habil.), Professor, Honoured Lawyer of Ukraine. As a Member of Parliament, Dr. Mykhailiuk is the Representative of the President of Ukraine in the Parliament of Ukraine. She holds the position of the Deputy Head of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Committee on Law Enforcement. Beyond other parliamentary duties, she is in charge of international cooperation of the Committee to ensure effective working relationships with national law enforcement agencies and international partners, including EUAM, Council of Europe, NATO, and representatives of diplomatic missions to Ukraine and civil society.
Furthermore, Dr. Mykhailiuk is a Member of the Standing Delegation of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine in the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, Co-Head of the Groups for Inter-Parliamentary Relations with Japan, Australia, New Zealand and Norway.
