Bruno Rauis is a member of the MSCI ESG Research team, working with clients on climate risk analysis as well as on new product development. Bruno has over twelve years of experience in mainstream finance, gained through various structuring and trading roles in investment banks in Europe and Asia-Pacific. In his last role as a Director in Citi’s Asia-Pacific Credit Trading team, he specialised in structuring and risk managing bespoke investment, financing and risk hedging transactions for the bank’s institutional and corporate clients. Prior to joining Carbon Delta and MSCI, Bruno worked in the fields of climate risk and sustainable infrastructure finance in academic institutions, co-authoring some of the first reports of the Transition Pathway Initiative at the London School of Economics and taking on a role of Research Associate at Imperial College’s Centre for Climate Finance and Investment.
Bruno holds a Master of Management Engineering with Major in Finance from the Université Libre de Bruxelles (High Distinction) and an MSc in Environmental Economics and Climate Change from the London School of Economics (Distinction). He is a published author of books and peer-reviewed articles on credit derivatives, banking regulation and climate finance.
