Description
Despite the critical importance of adapting to rapidly deteriorating climate conditions, current levels of investment remain insufficient. This session will explore the recently published OECD Climate Adaptation Investment Framework (CAIF) and leverage OECD guidance to boost investment for a climate-resilient future. Inspired by the Policy Framework for Investment and FDI Qualities Policy Toolkit, the CAIF provides a targeted and coherent multi-sector approach to strengthen the enabling environment for adaptation investment. The session will explore how this framework can be applied to different national contexts, enhancing the enabling environment for adaptation investments, and linking them with broader sustainable development policies.
