Description
Riikka Laatu is former Ambassador of Finland to Yangon. She has served in several positions in the Ministry’s Department for Development Policy and in the Department for Africa and the Middle East. In the diplomatic service, she has worked in Dar es Salaam and Rome. She has also worked as Associate Programme Officer at ILO Office for the Pacific Island Countries in the Philippines and in Fiji. Ms Laatu joined the Ministry for Foreign Affairs in 1985. She holds a Master of Arts degree in geography.
