Description
Padraig Oliver is a Progamme Officer in the climate finance sub-division at the UNFCCC Secretariat. He supports the intergovernmental negotiations on climate finance as well as the technical work under the Standing Committee on Finance including the Biennial Assessment and Overview of Climate Finance Flows, definitions of climate finance, and work related to Article 2, paragraph 1(c), of the Paris Agreement to make finance flows consistent with a pathway towards low GHG emissions and climate-resilient development. He has previously worked on the development of innovative climate finance instruments, tracking climate investment flows and international climate policy at Climate Policy Initiative, Climate Bonds Initiative and Ecofys.
