Description
Lisa Mitchell is the Senior Director at Investment, Partnerships and Innovation at Infrastructure Canada and oversees the federal government’s policy centre of expertise on alternative finance and partnership models. She brings over a decade of experience in public-private partnerships providing policy advice, program delivery, project development and procurement expertise to federal departments and agencies, as well as provinces, territories, and municipalities through the P3 Canada Fund.
In this capacity, she leads a team dedicated to supporting project delivery, analyzing and researching emerging trends in project financing approaches, while developing strong stakeholder relations and promoting the value of alternative models, in Canada and internationally. Lisa has been Canada’s delegate to the OECD Senior Infrastructure and PPP Officials Network since 2012 and regularly represents Canada internationally.
Prior to her role at Infrastructure Canada, Lisa was the Director, Strategy and Market Development at PPP Canada, a federal Crown corporation dedicated to increasing the use of Canada’s P3 model across the country. She was responsible for the Corporation’s public relations, market research and strategic planning.
