Description
Dr. Radhika Murti is the Director of IUCN’s recently established Centre for Society and Governance. In this role Radhika provides programmatic oversight and leadership to IUCN’s work on Water and Landuse, Environmental Law, Human Rights, Culture, Heritage, Urban ecosystems and Youth engagement. Radhika is also responsible for coordinating IUCN’s work on Nature-based Solutions, having co-authored the recently launched IUCN Global Standard for NbSTM. Originally from Fiji Islands, Radhika has a background in Forestry Science, land tenure conflicts and community based climate change adaptation.
