Description
Vicki Wilkinson is the First Assistant Secretary, International Economics and Security Division in the Australian Treasury.
The Division aims to promote Australia's interests by influencing key policies, strategies and international governance arrangements through engagement with international financial institutions, multilateral fora including the G20 and key bilateral partners. This engagement aims to strengthen international economic and financial stability, promote global growth and sustainable development, bolster bilateral relationships, and progress the Government’s wider international agenda.
Vicki has extensive public policy experience and has previously held a range of senior roles in the Treasury. Vicki is a Bureau member of the OECD Task Force on Long-term Investment. Vicki is a Bureau member of the OECD Task Force on Long-term Investment.
Vicki has provided advice on and delivered a broad range of policy reforms across social welfare, health, disability, education, employment, immigration and labour market issues, and affordable housing. Vicki also has extensive experience in financial sector reform and was a member of 2014 Financial System Inquiry.
Vicki holds a Bachelor of Law (Honours) and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the Australian National University, and a Bachelor of Arts and Graduate Diploma (Computer Science) from the University of Canberra.
