As Latin America and the Caribbean emerge from the worst sanitary, economic and social crisis in decades, it needs policy strategies for a green, inclusive and resilient recovery. The region must focus now on boosting productivity, creating solid frameworks for education and skills development, and promoting sustainable integration into the world economy. The Summit, jointly organised with the Brazilian government, gathered senior officials from OECD and LAC countries, international organisations, and representatives from both the private sector and civil society, around the theme Towards a productive, human-centred and sustainable integration in the world economy and will examine strategies and actions to achieve it.
