Dr Paul Bolger is manager of Environmental Research Institute (ERI) at University College Cork which has 300 researchers and has published 750 peer-reviewed publications in the last 5 years. He has a PhD in Chemistry and a Master’s in Business Administration and has worked across academia, industry and government in managing large interdisciplinary research projects and teams to deliver clear economic and societal outcomes. He is currently co-PI on a number of UCC research projects on climate change and the circular economy.
