Madiha brings over 30 years of experience in national and international organizations in diversified multi-sectors towards world economic and social development growth. She was recognized as one of the most influential women who played a renowned role in enhancing Egypt’s economy at many international fronts. Madiha has more than 15 years of experience in Non-Profit Management and Lead Philanthropy Foundations with a special focus on workforce development, business development, and entrepreneurial development in cross-cutting sectors. Madiha served for more than ten years in International Development Organizations United Nations in New York and Egypt, USAID, World Bank, and European Union Projects focusing on education policies, advocacies and awareness from K-12, Tertiary, and Vocational Education. She served as Executive Director for lead Swiss, American and Egyptian non-profit organizations and Foundations where she was able through policy advocacy and government relations activities to successfully had a remarkable influence of transformational changes in business policies towards economic growth. Since 2003 through 2018, Madiha served at the Swiss Federal Government as Senior Economic and Trade Adviser (Commercial Attaché) where she played an influential role between Egypt and Switzerland in enhancing its economy. Madiha participated in many rounds of the Free Trade Agreement negotiations (EFTA) between Egypt, Switzerland, Norway and Liechtenstein launched by 2007. She represented several Swiss business organizations in Egypt namely, Switzerland Global Enterprise and the Swiss Secretariat for Economic Development Authority. Madiha participated in organizing over 10 Presidential and Governments Swiss Delegations to Egypt as well as organized successfully over 25 business trade missions between Egypt and Switzerland towards enhancing political, economic, and cultural relations between the two countries. She is currently a Board Member of American Heritage College and serves as the member of several advisory boards and international business councils. She is an active Member of the Executive Board of the Egyptian Junior Business Association, Member of the Advisory Council of the School of Executive Education at the American University in Cairo, Member of the Executive Board of the Swiss Egyptian Business Association, in addition to a member of the UN Donors Development Group for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), Active member at the International Women Empowerment Association and member of Egyptian Rotary Club for community development. Madiha has been recognized and awarded many certificates of appreciation throughout her successful career from national and international governments namely, The Swiss Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the extraordinary services and dedication in enhancing the bilateral relations between the two countries for fourteen years. She was also recognized by the Board of the Future Generation Foundation for her exceptionally successful organizing a state-of-the-art Fundraising Charity Gala Event Hosting President Bill Clinton to Egypt as Key Guest Speaker. She was also awarded numerous certificates of appreciation from the international Swiss Business Corporations in Egypt for supporting their investments and business government relations. Madiha’s BSc. degree from the Faculty of Arts, English Literature, arts of linguistics and translation techniques. She is also a holder of the Diploma in Education Policy Analysis and Planning as an emeritus scholar of Fulbright Foundation at Harvard School of Education. She is also a holder of Diploma in Business Administration and Negotiation Skills from the American University in Cairo.
