Bio

Johanna Richter is Portfolio Manager for East and Southeast Asia at KfW Development Bank with a focus on Green Finance. In her role she is coordinating KfW’s work on Green Capital Market Development in developing and emerging markets. Together with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, she works on developing new products to promote the Green Bond Market in the partner countries of KfW Development Bank. Johanna holds a MSc in Economics from the University of Cologne, as well as a BA in Governance and Public Policy from the University of Passau. She has working experience throughout East and Southeast Asia, including Indonesia, Vietnam and South Korea. Johanna is passionate about impact investments, blended finance and innovation and beliefs in the power of change.
