Wolfgang Diernhofer has almost 30 years of professional experience in the field of national and international climate policy, climate finance, climate change technologies, carbon markets and sustainable development. He is working for Kommunalkredit Public Consulting (KPC) since 2002. He is part of KPC’s management team since 2006 and is heading the IC department which is responsible for all international consultancy assignments managed by KPC.
Wolfgang is member of the working delegation of the Austrian Ministry of Climate Action to the COP/MOP since 2010.Since 2016 he is the Adviser to the Alternate GCF Board Member of Austria and since the first Board Meeting of the newly established Fund responding to Loss and Damage in 2024, he supports the Austrian Board Member as his principal Advisor
