Description
Catherine Salmon is Regional Head of Corporate Governance Research for France, U.K., Middle East and Africa and Global lead Environmental & Social Governance (since Feb. 2020), that relate to the production of research and voting recommendations for institutional investor clients globally, the engagement with institutional investor clients, representatives of listed companies, voting policy updates and the monitoring of corporate governance developments. Catherine is a frequent speaker covering corporate governance topics and regularly engages with key market players with a focus on those in France and the U.K. She is an active member of ISS’ Global Policy Board, which develops the firm’s benchmark global voting policies. In addition, Catherine serves as a correspondent of the ISS-ESG Public and Regulatory Affairs team which monitors and evaluates the changing ESG regulatory landscape and provides official feedback including through the response of government and non-government consultations. She is also a member of the UN PRI’s Global Policy Reference Group comprising senior policy professionals across the globe who are integrating responsible investment into their firm’s public policy engagements. Prior to joining ISS, Catherine was a Corporate Governance Analyst at Deminor. Catherine holds a Master of Business Law from the University of Poitiers – DJCE.
