Description
Lucie Bernatkova is a Vice President, Portfolio Manager with AllianzGI Private Equity Impact Investing Team and currently co-leads the Emerging Market Climate Action Fund, a G7-endorsed blended finance strategy focused on financing climate transition projects in emerging markets. Lucie has spent the last ten years of her career structuring investment vehicles and executing sustainability-focused transactions. Prior to joining AllianzGI, Lucie built up the impact investing and blended finance strategy for the Allianz Group insurance companies. In that role, she also represented Allianz as a blended finance expert in various investor networks, including the AoA, GISD and the UN SDG Fund. Before joining the Allianz Group, Lucie worked in development finance, executing emerging market climate finance transactions for the European Investment Bank’s Global Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Fund. She started her career in international development consulting. She earned her Master’s Degree from Johns Hopkins University, School of Advanced International Studies.
