Description
Daniel Vela Barón is a Senior Investment Officer and subject matter expert for the Reserve Advisory & Management Partnership (RAMP) within the World Bank Treasury. He delivers technical assistance and capacity-building services to RAMP’s members in areas relevant to investment and risk management, such as strategic asset allocation, sustainable finance, investment policy, or portfolio construction. Before joining the World Bank in 2015, he worked for the Banco de la República in Colombia. He holds a Bachelor and a Master of Science in Engineering, Operations Research & Statistics from Universidad de Los Andes and a Master in Finance from MIT.
