Description
Holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from University of Chile and an MSc in Financial Engineering from Columbia University (New York). Has extensive experience in the financial system, working as Economist at Banco Santander Chile and the Central Bank of Chile. In addition, he was Deputy Manager of Research at the Chilean Banking Association.
He joined BancoEstado in 2022 as Head of Planning and Research, a position he held until his appointment as Head of Management Planning & Control. He also serves as Chairman of the Board of BancoEstado Corredores de Seguros, and as Administrator of the SME Guarantee Fund (FOGAPE) and the Special Guarantee Fund (FOGAES).
