Description
Michael Mullan leads the OECD’s work on Climate-resilient Finance and Investment, which focusses on scaling-up and aligning finance for climate change adaptation. At OECD, he served as Special Advisor for COP26 and COP27 and has co-authored reports for the G20 on climate-resilient Infrastructure. Between 2019 and 2021, he went on loan to the Global Centre on Adaptation, where he developed their Programme on Infrastructure and Nature-based Solutions. Prior to joining OECD in 2011, he was an Economic Advisor in the UK Government, leading the economic analysis to underpin the creation of the UK’s first National Adaptation Plan. He holds an undergraduate degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from Oxford and a master’s degree in development economics from the School of Oriental and African Studies in London.
