Description
After working 10 years in the private sector in several posts related to marketing and innovation Sebastien Paquot joined the European Commission in 2015 as Policy Officer in DG Environment in the unit in charge of Circular Economy. In 2017 he was appointed adviser to the Director General of DG Environment before becoming Member of the Private Office of Commissioner Vella in 2018. He joined the EU Delegation in China in September 2019 as Head of Section in charge of Environment and Climate files. Since September 2022 he has been Deputy Head of Unit for Climate Finance in the Directorate General for Climate Action (DG CLIMA).
