Description
Aldo Ravazzi Douvan is the Chief Economist at DG Sustainable Development, EU & International Relations of the Italian Ministry of Environment - Sogesid TA. He presently chairs the OECD Committee on Environmental Performance Country Reviews, previously those on Taxation & Environment, and on Biodiversity, Water & Ecosystems. He has served as the technical coordinator at the G7 Environment Italian Presidency 2017. He is the President of Green Budget Europe, the network of experts from Governments, IGOs, NGOs, Business, University & Research promoting EFRs across Europe and beyond, and the removal of environmentally harmful subsidies. Furthermore he is the Italian representative at IRP-UNEP (International Resources Panel), CPLC-WB (Carbon Pricing Leadership Coalition), G20 Peer Review of Fossil Fuel Subsidies, UNEP Experts group for the definition of SDG 12c (fossil fuel subsidies). He teaches Sustainable Development at the University of Roma Luiss and is a member of the WCERE Goteborg 2018 Scientific Committee.
