Description
Kate Levick leads E3G’s activities on Sustainable Finance, working with public and private finance sector stakeholders to support political decisions that enable financing of the global transition to climate safety.
Kate is also the Co-Head of the Secretariat to the UK’s Transition Plan Taskforce. She is involved in governance of financial sector net zero alliances, sitting on both the Advisory Panel to the Glasgow Finance Alliance for Net Zero and the UNFCCC Climate Champions’ Expert Peer Review Group. Kate also chairs the Policy workstream of the UK’s Green Technical Advisory Group which advises government in relation to the UK’s green taxonomy.
Before joining E3G Kate was the Global Director for Policy Engagement at CDP and worked for the UK government’s Office of Climate Change and for BP Plc in a variety of commercial and environmental policy roles.
