Senior Counsellor to the Director, Climate Change, Environment Directorate
Description
Jane Ellis has worked for over 30 years on various climate change issues, including on carbon markets. She has made significant technical contributions to the UNFCCC negotiations on international frameworks for market-based co-operation, notably as part of the OECD/IEA Climate Change Expert Group (CCXG). Furthermore, Jane oversees the OECD's inputs to the G7-led Carbon Market Platform. In this role, she is also the co-author of a forthcoming OECD working paper that explores the interplay between voluntary and compliance carbon markets, with a focus on environmental integrity.
