Division Manager Strategy and Policy
Description
Dr. Chisala is Division Manager for the Strategy and Operational Policies Department at the African Development Bank. She is responsible for providing leadership in the preparation and dissemination of policies, strategies, guidelines and procedures as well as in providing strategic advice across the Bank. Most recently, she was responsible for the development of the Sustainable Borrowing Policy. Dr. Chisala represents the Bank in its engagement with other Multilateral Development Banks (MDBs) and the International Financial Architecture Working Group of the G20. She is also responsible for creditworthiness assessment and classification of countries’ eligibility to Bank financing.
