Description
Lucia van Westerlaak was educated as a professional guitar player and teacher, also studied law and eventually ended up in the union movement. She has been working for 25 years now for the Dutch FNV Union Confederation as policy advisor. She also was a member of the executive board and president of one of the unions. She now is policy advisor on RBC issues, participates in the 3-partite social economic body that advises the Dutch Government on RBC issues. Lucia supports the union negotiators and the FNV executive board on international RBC matters. She is a member of the key stakeholders group that is being consulted regularly by the Dutch NCP. She also chairs the TUAC working group on MNE’s, trade and investment.
