Biography
Jean François Mbaye is a member of the French Water Partnership and the UNITE WC EUROPE network. He is a specialist in global health, official development assistance, and environmental diplomacy. He was born in Senegal on January 1st, 1979, and served as a member of the French Parliament's XVth legislature from 2017 to 2022. He has also served as a rapporteur for the Foreign Affairs Committee on three occasions, examining finance bills and co-authoring a report on the respect of international humanitarian law in armed conflict zones. Prior to his political career, Mbaye worked as a Legal Dispatcher at ONIAM, handling cases related to medical accidents and nosocomial infections, including post-transfusion HIV/HCV contamination and compulsory vaccination regimes.
