Biography
Jan Bauer has been a Member of the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Republic from 2004 to 2013, and was re-elected in 2017 representing the Civic Democratic Party. He is Vice-Chair of the Committee on Economic Affairs and Member of the Committee on Social Policy. He is Prachatice City Council Representative since 1998 until, elected Mayor of the City of Prachatice from 1998 to 2010 and re-elected in 2022. Jan Bauer was also Member of the South Bohemian Region Council from 2000 to 2004, re-elected in 2016.
