Biography
Since 2007 Tim Klüssendorf has been politically active in the Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD). Klüssendorf is a member of German Parliament since 2021 and is part of the SPD group. In his work as a rapporteur for the Finance Committee of the German Parliament he is mainly focusing on the topics of sales tax, capital tax, inheritance tax, and insurance tax. Furthermore Tim Klüssendorf is a deputy member of the Digital Commitee. Klüssendorf was born and raised in the Northern German city of Lübeck. In 2018 he graduated in business administration (M.Sc.) from the University of Hamburg. In his spare time, he is a passionate soccer player at TuS Lübeck, additionally he is a member of the supervisory board of his home town's semi-professional soccer team VfB Lübeck.
