Biography
Meri Disoski has been a member of the Austrian National Council since 2019. She is deputy chairwoman, member of the federal executive board of the Greens and their women’s chairperson. Disoski serves on the committees for Equal Rights, Human Rights, Transport, Construction and Housing, as well as Foreign Affairs. Since 2024, she has chaired an investigation committee for the Green Party.
As Head of Cabinet to the Deputy Mayor of Vienna (2017-2019), she focused on climate protection, mobility, energy, urban planning and urban development, and shared responsibility for key projects in this area. Prior to this, she worked for many years as managing director of an NGO in the field of integration and as a research assistant at the University of Vienna, where she also completed her master’s degree.
