Biography

Lucila Crexell is a Member of the Senate of Argentina since 2019, after a first mandate from 2013 to 2019. She has two decades of experience working in different areas of public administration, both at the national and local level. She is part of the Argentinian Delegation in the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU), along with the Argentinian Delegation in the Latin American Parliament (PARLATINO) where, as a member of the Environment and Tourism Commission, she promoted the approval of the Framework Law for the categorisation of Protected Areas. She is Member of different commissions, such as the Commission on Constitutional Affairs, on Foreign Relations, or on Environment and Sustainable Development. Lucila Crexell is a Lawyer and holds a Bachelor's degree in Public Relations and a Bachelor of Government and International Relations from the Universidad Argentina de la Empresa (UADE). She also has Diploma in Public Policies for Sustainable Development within the Framework of the 2030 Agenda from the UADE and a Diploma in Sustainable Environmental Management from the Universidad Tecnológica Nacional.
