Biography
Mr. Karakaya serves as an MP in the Grand National Assembly, representing the Nationalist Movement Party. He is the vice-president of that Party. Moreover, he is also a member of the Turkish Delegation in NATO’s Parliamentary Assembly and member of Inter-Parliamentary Union. He is the Spokesperson of the Public Economic Enterprises Commission, member of the Presidential Board of the MHP and Deputy Chair in charge of Financial Affairs. In addition, he is Professor of Accounting and Finance at Gazi University. Before becoming an MP, he worked as a bureaucrat.
